The location was fantastic, just a short and enjoyable walk along the water to the city center. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the kids had a blast in the jacuzzi bath with its mesmerizing lights. The fridge was stocked with a fantastic selection of food and treats, which was a pleasant surprise. We highly recommend checking out Hannekers Boom nearby, it had great food, a lovely vibe, and a beautiful view. The host, Ewoud, was amazing and always available to help. A must-visit is the science museum, which is a short walk away and even has a free roof garden. a wonderful experience for the whole family!
For families with children, it would be great if there were more child-friendly amenities or activities available.

The apartment with a terrace and river views was absolutely stunning! I felt like I was in a dream with the beautiful views of the river right from my own terrace. The apartment itself was cozy and comfortable, and I loved having a living room to relax in.
Personally, I found the size of the apartment to be a bit small for my liking. But hey, that's just me!

I had a fantastic stay at The Waterhouse Houseboat. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was peaceful and scenic, with pleasant walks to the city center and nearby museums. The owners were extremely helpful and provided all the little extras that made a big difference. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend staying here when visiting Amsterdam.
I was initially concerned about parking, but the hosts recommended using the P&R at Zeeburg2, which was easy and cost-effective. The coffee maker and wifi had minor issues, but the owners addressed them promptly.

the communication with the property owners was excellent, as they promptly answered any questions and made themselves available throughout my stay. They even reached out a day after my arrival to check if I needed anything. the houseboat itself was well-equipped and had thoughtful touches like fresh fruit, coffee, and basic condiments. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was an ample supply of towels. the neighborhood was peaceful, and the houseboat was conveniently located within walking distance of a tram stop and just a short distance from Central Station. it was a delightful experience.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊

The bed was comfortable and the kids enjoyed the bath and the lights. the property was clean and modern. There was a great selection of food and treats in the fridge. Highly recommend the nearby restaurant Hannekers Boom for the delicious food and great view. There was also a supermarket on the route to the city center, making it convenient for picking up supplies during our daily walks.
The coffee maker was challenging to use, with pods often getting bent and water ending up in the tray instead of the cup. We also had issues with the WiFi, although the owners eventually resolved it by changing the server.

The location was perf, just a short walk to the city center along the water. The bed was mega comfy and the bath with lights made us feel like VIPs. The fridge was stocked with a sick selection of food and treats. Shoutout to Hannekers Boom for the vibes and views. Plus, Ewoud was a legend host, always there for us. Can't wait to come back!
Only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene nearby. We're young party animals and wanted more places to turn up and dance the night away.
